Good things deserve to be said out loud.
Positive quote t-shirts, printed big across the back, so the message is for whoever is behind you as much as it is for you.
Our Positivity collection is built on backprint quotes, big type and colour, worn where other people can actually read them.
The quotes
Every design starts with a line worth wearing. "You're allowed to begin again." "It got better before and it will again." "Consider this a sign from the universe that you're on the right path." Some are gentle, some swear at you a bit, and a few will only ever make sense to the one person who needed them. Each quote gets the layout that suits its tone: hem-following type for the understated ones, a centred hem print for the ones that want a little more room, speech bubbles for the ones that sound like they came from a friend.
Colour dips and CMYK
Type on its own can fall flat, so the colour does the rest of the work. The colour dips grade one shade down into another behind the words, and the speech-bubble designs carry a soft cyan, magenta and yellow halo around the bubble, so the words lift off the cloth. It keeps a hopeful sentence from looking like a motivational poster.
Why the back?
Because you already know what your t-shirt says. The person behind you in the queue does not. Someone reading "I hope life treats you well" on the back of a tee at a bus stop gets a small, unearned lift on an ordinary Tuesday, and that costs nothing to hand out. That is the entire point of the collection.
Made for the optimists, the kind-hearted, and anyone who still thinks a well-placed good word counts. Printed using all-over dye sublimation on a 160gsm recycled polyester jersey, cut and sewn to order by Contrado. Starting from £30. Free UK delivery on orders over £40.
The range runs from quiet reminders to blunt ones. Some sit in a speech bubble, some follow the hem in a single line of capitals or lower case, and some are centred low on the back. All of them start from the same idea: a good sentence in the right place can shift somebody’s afternoon.

Positivity T-shirts: your questions answered
What kind of positive messages do your t-shirts carry?
Our designs feature original quotes, uplifting phrases, and graphics that celebrate kindness, mental health awareness, and the simple act of spreading good energy. Every design is a backprint, so the message trails behind you as you walk, a little something left for the world.
Can I send it back?
Because each piece is made for you, we replace or refund anything that arrives faulty or misprinted, and we cover the return postage. You also keep your legal right to cancel within 14 days of delivery. See our Refund and Returns Policy for how it works.
How do the back-print designs look in person?
Crisp and bold. The designs are printed by dye sublimation, so the ink goes into the fibre rather than sitting on top of it, and fine text keeps its edges. The type is set large on purpose, so the quote reads from a distance rather than only up close.
What is a positive quote t-shirt?
A tee where a short, uplifting line is the design itself rather than a slogan tacked under a graphic. Ours are printed large across the back, so the quote is legible to the people around you and not just in the mirror.
Do you sell motivational slogan tees?
Yes, though we try to keep them the right side of cheesy. Lines like "Become addicted to bettering yourself." do the motivational job, while "Relax" and "Enjoy the ride" pull in the opposite direction. Pick whichever matches the year you are having.
Are these a good mental health or wellbeing gift?
They are one of the things people buy for someone else most often. A quote like "It got better before and it will again" says something that is hard to say out loud, and it carries on saying it every time the tee comes out of the wash. Everything is printed to order, so any design can be made in any size.
What does the colour dip do to the print?
The dip is a graded colour fade running behind or through the type, moving from a clean tone into a saturated one. It gives a text-only design depth and stops the back of the tee reading like a page of print.
Do any of them swear?
A few, yes. "Get absolutely f*cking treasured." (spelled out in full on the tee) and "Kick today in the dick" exist for good reason. The product title always tells you exactly what you are getting, so nothing arrives as a surprise.
