Neutrals is the part of the wardrobe that does the quiet work: eight earth tones across six garments, cut so a tee, a hoodie and a pair of joggers bought months apart still look like they were bought together.
The palette
Chalk, mist, stone, oat, taupe, ash, charcoal and black. Warm tones and cool tones are deliberately kept on the same value ladder, so chalk over taupe, oat over charcoal or mist over black all land without anyone having to think about it. If you already own denim, khaki, grey marl or black, every piece in this range goes with it.
Cloudfade
Cloudfade is our own print. A real sky photograph is faded down into the ground colour until only the movement of the cloud is left, so from across a room you read a plain garment and up close you get weather. It comes in stone, taupe and charcoal, across the t-shirt, hoodie, joggers and shorts. The flat colourways keep to one colour and a small Its.That. mark, for when you want the shape to do the talking.
The garments
T-shirt, oversized t-shirt, shorts, joggers, hoodie and bomber. Hoodies and joggers share the same grounds, so buying a matching set is a matter of picking one colour twice. The t-shirts run up to 7XL, the hoodies and bombers to 4XL, and the joggers and shorts to 2XL (the limited joggers go to 7XL).
How it is made
Printed, cut and sewn to order in the UK by Contrado. The colour is printed into the fabric before it is cut, so it runs evenly across every seam, nothing is made before somebody wants it, and the range can grow a garment at a time. Free UK delivery on orders over £40.
The palette runs chalk, mist, stone, oat, taupe, ash, charcoal and black, so any two pieces in the range already sit right next to each other. Most of the range is flat colour. Stone, taupe and charcoal also come in Cloudfade, a soft sky photograph faded into the fabric so it reads as texture rather than as a print.

What are earth tone basics?
Earth tones are colours pulled from natural materials: chalk and oat from bleached linen and raw cotton, stone and taupe from clay and sand, ash and charcoal from wet slate. Basics in those tones work as a wardrobe base because none of them fight each other, which is the whole reason this collection has eight of them and no brights.
What colours go with everything?
The honest answer is the low-saturation ones. Chalk, oat, taupe, ash and charcoal sit beside denim, khaki, grey marl, black and white without clashing, because they carry almost no colour cast of their own. Mist is the cool one and pairs best with black, charcoal and indigo. Black and chalk are the two you can put with literally anything in the range.
Do the hoodie and joggers come as a matching set?
Yes. The hoodie and the joggers are printed in the same eight grounds, so ordering both in one colour gives you a matching set rather than two near-misses. Stone, taupe and charcoal also come as Cloudfade sets. You can also split it, charcoal hoodie over oat joggers is the one we wear most.
Is the Cloudfade print subtle?
Very. The sky photograph is faded into the ground colour rather than printed over it, so at a distance the garment reads as plain and only close up do you see cloud. It is a texture, not a graphic. If you want no texture at all, every tone comes as a flat colourway, with just a small Its.That. mark.
What sizes do you do?
The t-shirts run XS to 7XL, the hoodies and bombers up to 4XL, and the joggers and shorts up to 2XL (the limited joggers go to 7XL). The regular t-shirt and the hoodie are cut true to size, the oversized t-shirt is deliberately one step roomier through the body and shoulder, so take your usual size in it unless you want it very loose. How do I wash and care for these?
Machine wash cold, inside out, on a gentle cycle, with a mild detergent and no bleach or fabric softener. Tumble dry low or dry flat. Do not iron directly on the print. The colour and the Cloudfade are both printed into the fibre rather than sitting on top, so neither cracks or peels the way a screen print eventually does.
Who makes these, and where are they printed?
They are made in the UK by Contrado, who cut and sew each piece to order from cloth printed for that specific garment. Printing to order means no warehouse of unsold stock, no minimum runs, and we can add a colour or a garment to the range without committing to a container of it.
